Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

Clinx (clinx.app) helps clinic owners understand their local market. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it is kept and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language; if anything is unclear, write to us.

1.What we collect from you

Your account: your name and email address, and the organization you belong to if you work in a team.

Your clinic: the name, address, website, services and disciplines you enter or confirm, the competitors you choose, and the actions you mark as done.

Your questions: what you ask the assistant and its answers, kept per clinic so follow-up questions have context.

If you choose to connect a Google account, read-only traffic figures from Google Analytics, Search Console and Business Profile. The access tokens are encrypted at rest and you can disconnect at any time in Settings.

2.Public information we analyze

To compare your clinic with nearby clinics we read public business listings (name, address, rating, review count, hours, photos), the public text of patient reviews, public clinic websites and public social profile activity.

Reviewer names and photos are removed when reviews are collected and are never stored. Reports quote short passages of review text only to show the evidence behind a finding.

We do not ask for, collect or store patient records or any health information about your patients.

3.How we use information

To produce your reports, findings and action plan, answer your questions about them, and email you when a report is ready.

To keep the service secure and working: operational logs record requests and the timing of each analysis step, with credentials and sign-in tokens removed.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4.Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Clinx: website and server hosting, sign-in, a language-model provider that reads reviews and websites and drafts reports, providers of public listing and review data, and an email provider. Each receives only what it needs to do its part.

A current list of providers is available on request.

5.Where your data is stored

Clinx runs on servers in the United States, so your information may be processed outside Canada. Data in transit is encrypted, and connected-account tokens are encrypted at rest.

6.How long we keep it

Collected reviews are refreshed at most every 14 days. Your clinics, reports and conversations are kept while your account is active so each new report can show what changed.

When you ask us to delete your account or a clinic, we delete the related reports, conversations and connected-account tokens within 30 days.

7.Payments

During early access no payment provider is connected. We never receive or store card numbers; only the plan you chose and invoice details are recorded.

8.Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries that the service needs: to keep you signed in, to remember your language, and to remember interface choices such as the chat layout. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9.Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw a consent you gave, by writing to info@clinx.app. We answer within 30 days.

Clinx is for clinic owners and their staff, not for patients, and is not intended for anyone under 18.

10.Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell account holders by email about any significant change before it takes effect.
